Strengthening Fire Prevention Through Drills | DHOMA Successfully Conducts Fire Emergency Drill
Chi tiết
Safety is the cornerstone of an enterprise’s steady development, and fire safety is a top priority in production safety management. To fully implement the main responsibility of enterprise production safety, further enhance all employees’ awareness of fire prevention and control, help staff master the skills of emergency evacuation, initial fire fighting and self-rescue, and verify the scientificity and practicality of the company’s fire emergency plan, DHOMA recently organized all on-the-job employees to carry out a regular fire emergency drill, building a solid line of defense for enterprise production safety.
Centering on the actual scenarios of the company’s production and office areas, the drill strictly followed the fire safety policy of "prevention first, combination of prevention and elimination". Adhering to the principles of practical combat, full staff participation and standardization, the company formulated a comprehensive special drill plan in advance. It clearly defined the job responsibilities of each department, emergency evacuation routes, disposal procedures and safety precautions, with overall arrangement and detailed division of labor to ensure the safe, orderly and efficient implementation of the drill.
The drill simulated a sudden fire accident in the factory area. Upon the sound of the fire alarm, the emergency drill officially commenced. Employees from all departments responded quickly and acted in accordance with the emergency plan. Keeping calm throughout the process, they bent down, covered their mouths and noses, and evacuated rapidly and orderly to the designated safe assembly area via preset evacuation routes. The entire evacuation process was well-organized and efficient without crowding, delay or panic, fully demonstrating the excellent safety awareness, strict work discipline and efficient emergency response capability of all DHOMA employees.
After the completion of full-staff evacuation, the company’s safety management person-in-charge delivered an on-site practical fire safety training. Combined with the characteristics of the company’s production and office work, the trainer elaborated on key knowledge including daily fire hazard investigation, standard fire and electricity use in production workshops and office areas, and disposal methods for initial fires. Meanwhile, the trainer gave detailed explanations and hands-on demonstrations on the structural principles, applicable scenarios and operating procedures of common fire-fighting equipment such as dry powder fire extinguishers and indoor fire hydrants. All employees took an active part in practical operations and mastered the standard operating procedure of "pull out the pin, aim at the fire, squeeze the handle and sweep from side to side", successfully turning theoretical fire safety knowledge into practical emergency capabilities.
In addition, combining typical fire safety cases over the years, the staff gave special safety warnings on high-frequency fire risks in the enterprise. The emphasis was placed on standardized power consumption of workshop equipment, classified storage of warehouse materials, safe use of office electrical appliances, and self-inspection before daily off-duty. The training guided all employees to always attach great importance to fire safety, develop the habit of regular hidden danger investigation, resolve fire risks from the source, and prevent all kinds of safety accidents.
Practical, targeted and well-structured, the drill comprehensively inspected the company’s fire emergency command system, rapid response mechanism, inter-departmental coordination and on-site disposal capacity, helping optimize and improve the emergency plan by identifying existing deficiencies. Furthermore, it enabled all employees to experience the whole process of emergency disposal in an immersive manner, solidified their theoretical and practical fire safety skills, and greatly improved the company’s overall ability in disaster prevention, risk reduction and emergency response.
Fire safety is an ongoing task with no trivial details, and risk prevention must be normalized. In the next stage, adhering to the development philosophy of "safety first, life paramount", DHOMA will continue to carry out regular fire safety training, emergency drills and hidden danger investigation and rectification. The company will further optimize and improve the production safety and emergency management system, refine safety management measures, and implement safety responsibilities for all staff. It will build a full-participation and full-responsibility production safety management system, and escort the high-quality, sustainable and safe development of the enterprise through normalized safety management.
